B.A. in Psychology and Special Honors from Hunter College
Sam joined our team as Data Manager in September 2019 after completing an internship here at PRIDE.
As part of our Data Team, Sam works across multiple studies by cleaning and tracking data, developing syntax, assisting with survey development, and performing data documentation. Some of her research interests include substance use and sexual health behavior as mutual triggers particularly within underserved populations.
Sam is Narcan/Naloxone Certified and has had previous experience as a crisis counselor for a multitude of hotlines, including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Prior to joining PRIDE, she interned at Lenox Hill Hospital on the acute inpatient psychiatric unit. Sam is a member of Phi Betta Kappa and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in psychology. She plans to pursue graduate school for Clinical or Health Psychology in the near future.
