Kripa joined our team as a Research Assistant in October 2019. Kripa screens, schedules, and conducts appointments with participants for a variety of PRIDE's ongoing studies. Her interest in public health and health disparities research led her here. Kripa was recognized at Scripps College's Capstone Day for her senior thesis research examining whether we have a moral obligation to provide a baseline of healthcare to undocumented immigrants in the United States. In the future, she hopes to pursue a graduate education in either public health or clinical psychology. Kripa enjoys cooking new vegetarian recipes.
