Anti-Violence Project
New York City Anti-Violence Project (AVP) provides free and confidential assistance to thousands of LGBTQ and HIV-affected people across New York city each year through their 24-hour bilingual hotline, counseling, support groups, legal representation, and individual advocacy. AVP helps survivors of violence and allies become advocates for safety through participation in community education and outreach, development of organizing campaigns, and the creation and support of city, state ad national coalitions to address LGBTQ and HIV-affected violence.

Apicha Community Health Center
Apicha Community Health Center's mission is to provide affordable healthcare for underserved and vulnerable people living in NYC. Their LGBT center provides a variety of culturally competent health care services that include primary care, HIV specialty care, transgender primary care, sexual health services, mental health services, as well as community education programs designed to be sensitive to their clients' unique cultural needs and lifestyle choices.

Health Education alternatives for Teens (HEAT)
Health Education Alternatives for Teens (HEAT) provides confidential, comprehensive health care focused on the special needs of teenagers at risk for or living with HIV. They are committed to providing age-appropriate and culturally competent care for all youths - straight, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, from all ethnic backgrounds. They offer a "one-stop-shop" of comprehensive services for high-risk and HIV-infected youth including medical, case management, HIV counseling and testing, mental health care, treatment adherence, outreach, support services, and access to research.

Hispanic AIDS forum
The Hispanic AIDS Forum's (HAF) mission is to improve health outcomes for Latinos in New York City who are affected by HIV and other chronic illnesses. They offer free HIV testing; emotional support counseling and support groups or gay and bisexual Latino men; services for HIV-positive Latinos, such as help managing medical care and treatment, financial assistance with rent payments, plus health education and wellness services; Latino youth leadership training; and services for transgender women.

HIV Uninsured care programs (NySDOH aids
institute)
The NYS Department of Health's AIDS Institute has established five programs which provide access to free health care for New York State residents who are uninsured or underinsured. All five programs use the same application form and enrollment process, which can be found on the website. These programs provide: HIV drugs, primary care, home care, premium payments, and pre-exposure prophylaxis to prevent HIV infection.
HOUSING WORKS COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE
Housing Works Community Healthcare fosters good health and positive social change through empowerment, innovation, and collaboration. They provide high-quality integrated medical care and other essentials that improve individual and overall community well-being. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), they are able to provide more affordable care to underserved populations. Their clinical services include primary care, wellness & prevention, behavioral health & substance use, dental care, youth and prevention services, AIDS adult day community healthcare, and case management.

Latino Commission On AIDS
The Latino Commission on AIDS is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS in the Latino community. The Commission's public health model encompasses four core and complementary services provided to Latino communities: health education, HIV prevention, capacity building, and advocacy. All services are offered in Spanish by a culturally diverse bilingual staff of health, education, and business professionals.

The Adolescent AIDS Program (AAP) at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore is a leader in the field of HIV/AIDS among adolescents. The APP serves as a local and national resource for those living with HIV/AIDS; adolescents who are at risk for HIV infection; healthcare providers who treat adolescents living with or at risk for HIV infection; and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning adolescents, their families, and caregivers.

mount sinai adolescent health centER - Project
IMPACT
The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center provides confidential, comprehensive medical, mental health, family planning, and health education services to young people between the ages of 10 and 22 years. Project IMPACT is a section of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center that focuses specifically on free, confidential medical and mental health services for youth living with HIV ages 13 to 24 years.

Hygiene
The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene offers confidential, low- to no-cost services for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV, at their eight sexual health clinics. These clinics see patients on a first come, first served basis, and no appointment is necessary. For more information, and locations, visit this link, or call 311.
The Oval Center at Montefiore
Provides state-of-the art prevention, screening, treatment, and sexual health services in a discreet, comfortable, and convenient setting. Services include: confidential screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs); rapid HIV testing; pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for individuals at high risk for acquiring HIV; post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for individuals who have had recent high risk sexual encounters; vaccinations, including hepatitis B and HPV; sexual healthcare for LGBTQ individuals; hepatitis C screening and treatment; sliding fee scale and assistance obtaining insurance or those in need.
